What do we do?

Our main focus are conducting early detection campaigns and giving support to anyone concerned by breast cancer.
Our activities include:

• Organising regularly seminars and workshops by our team of health professionals across the island for breast cancer awareness and to sensitise the women on the importance of early detection.
• Doing frequent hospital visits to cancer patients to give them psychological and emotional support
• Conducting weekly therapy consultations
• Offering weekly empowerment activities
• Distributing prosthesis, scarves, wigs, lymphedema compression sleeves and mastectomy bras freely
• Organising physical activity sessions such as yoga, zumba and other training sessions such as IT for the breast cancer survivors
• Offering free check ups with own up to date Ultra Sound machine
• Organising outings for the patients 4 times a year

Moreover, our psychotherapist conducts both hospital and home visits.

Over the years, we

• Have given more than 10,000 women free medical check-ups in Mauritius and in Rodrigues
• Offered a breast reconstruction surgery to one of the patients
• Bore the costs of further investigations upon suspicious cases detected during our regular campaigns.
